ARTIST STATEMENT
I love plants and I love gardens, and these inspire me to create my art. By altering and assembling various photographic images, I strive to bring order to disorder through my work, as well as bring surrealism to reality.
The resulting geometry in some of the images plays with the tradition of formal gardens, while the chaos and wildness in other images relate to more natural settings. I hope my art will prompt the viewer to see nature with renewed interest.
